The Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority engaged Pat McCann this year to support our 2018 annual goal setting process. Pat led us through a simple yet thorough approach that started with the clarification of our organizational focus and priorities. He led our 20 member Leadership Team through an exercise that focused on calibration to ensure we were fully aligned. Pat then facilitated sessions with our Managers and staff (5 sessions with approximately 20 staff in each) to help us set meaningful performance goals fully aligned with our strategic plan and priorities. Feedback received from staff regarding Pat and his process was very positive. We were very pleased with Pat’s guidance through the process. There are a few people in your work life that you meet that are truly outstanding, Patrick McCann is one of them. He is a leader, he has humility, he is a wonderful person, is honest and has character! On top of that, he is a world class Learning and Development practitioner. In my five years working with Pat, I found him to be the most dedicated and professional of partners. Always willing and enthusiastic about finding ways to support initiatives, I can't think of a situation in which he didn't immediately buy in and add immense value. Never afraid to be innovative he also brought with him a great deal of experience in the art of knowledge transfer, leveraging the many programs he had created or worked with in his prior roles. I have known Pat for over a decade. He has very strong interpersonal skills with a keen eye for detail. We worked together on many training programs, classes and product roll outs at Wendy's.
